Church of Fövenypuszta – theoretical reconstruction maquette

The maquette presenting the theoretical reconstruction of the church in Fövenypuszta was commissioned by Gorsium archaeological Park, and is now exhibited in the new permanent exhibition. The theoretical reconstruction is Gabriella Nádorfi’s work. The model created according to her directions is suitable for the production of a maquette consisting of several parts, created by 3D printing. The maquette gained its final form after assembly, filing and multi layer painting. The white color (textureless version) was a conscious choice, which adheres to the image of the exhibition, while the textureless appearance enhances the interpretation of the building, it doesn’t distract the attention from the model. We are planning to create a colored, lively version as well.
