Bakonybél abbey maquette

We have created a maquette in 1:400 scale for the renewed exhibition in the Saint Mauritius Abbey of Bakonybél. The maquette displays the closer environment and farmland around the monastery according to period documents. As a supplement an interactive application has been also developed displaying the details of the reconstruction.
Along the creation procedure we modelled the buildings in 3D and printed them with a 3D printer.
The painting and assembly of the whole maquette was done by Gyula Homoki (Miniatűr Történelem Kft.).
