Boldogkő Castle in the 17th century – theoretical reconstruction
Boldogkő Castle was built on a cliff on the eastern side of the Hernád River valley, in the immediate vicinity of Boldogkőváralja, after the Mongol invasion. Among the many construction periods of the building complex, we prepared the 17th century state under the guidance of archaeologist and art historian Gergely Buzás, the surrounding landscape reconstruction was prepared by István Pánya. We wanted to make a theoretical reconstruction of the castle for a long time, but unfortunately the choice did not fall on us, so even if our work was not included in the exhibition, we made our short film from the project and our reconstruction images available to everyone on the Internet, thus paying tribute to this a love project.
